During the 2025 Apsara Conference held in Hangzhou from September 24 to 26, Alibaba Cloud announced that it will establish its first cloud regions in Brazil, France, and the Netherlands, while expanding data centers in Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Dubai to meet the surging global demand for artificial intelligence and cloud services.
Currently, Alibaba Cloud operates 91 availability zones across 29 regions worldwide. Since the beginning of this year, the company has continued to strengthen infrastructure investment, launching eight new AI and cloud data centers and availability zones in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, as well as in Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Dubai, and Mexico.
