Bank of Beijing is a Sino-foreign joint-stock commercial bank established in 1996, it is one of the systemically important banks and the largest city commercial bank by asset size in China. By grasping the opportunities of financial reform and opening up, Bank of Beijing has achieved a series of strategic breakthroughs. The Bank has its business presence in more than a dozen core cities across China including Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Jinan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Nanchang, Changsha, Xi’an, and Urumqi and also representative offices in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Netherlands. As at the end of 2023, the total assets of Bank of Beijing recorded RMB 3.75 trillion, an increase of 10.65% over the beginning of the year, maintaining the first place in terms of asset scale among city commercial banks. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was RMB 25.624 billion, an increase of 3.49% year on year, maintaining stable profitability. As of the end of September 2024, the Bank appeared as No. 51 in The Banker’s “Top 1000 World Banks” list in terms of tier-1 capital, and  its brand value reached RMB 103.662 billion.
