In July 2007, Bank of China (Europe) S.A. Rotterdam Branch (hereinafter referred as “Rotterdam Branch”) was officially opened. Rotterdam Branch is the first branch of the Bank of China in the Netherlands as well as the first Chinese financial institution in the Netherlands. Since the establishment of the Rotterdam branch, relying on China, based on the local market, fulfilling social responsibility, serving Sino-Dutch Economic, trade and cultural exchanges, and also drawing on the distinctive tax structure and the sound financial system of the Netherlands, Rotterdam Branch is dedicated to providing high quality financial services to corporate customers and individual customers from both China and the Netherlands.
