Sinochem Atlantic Resources B.V. (short for SARBV or the company) is 100% owned by the Energy sector from Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. Also as the direct parent of Sinochem Petroleum Brasil Ltda, SARBV is mainly responsible for the management of holding and financing with the Brazilian entity.
Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd acquired 40% non operating working interest of Peregrino oil field from Norwegian state oil company Equinor (previously named Statoil). Peregrino oil field was located in Campos basin, with 100-120m water depth, and 85km from the coast line. The deal was regarded as the largest foreign merger and acquisition in Sinochem history. The Brazilian company Sinochem Petroleum Brasil Ltda holds 40% share of the Peregrino oil field.
